Simona grew up in Vienna, Austria and Milan, Italy. It wasn't long before modeling scouts took notice of her natural beauty, and at 8 years old Simona’s first national campaigns, Benetton and Lacoste, started a modeling career. As a result of her success a move to the U.S. at only 14 years of age followed. At 21 Simona was discovered by the late legendary star-maker Jay Bernstein, who was responsible for discovering beautiful blonde icons such as Farrah Fawcett, Suzanne Somers, Linda Evans, Heather Locklear, Mary Hart, Pamela Anderson, Drew Barrymore, etc.
