Jonathan Platero

Dancer/Choreographer/Actor, Jonathan Platero gained national notoriety with his athletic dance ability as a ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, Season 5 Finalist. Before SYTYCD, Jonathan had already won titles including; World Undisputed Salsa Champion and was the head choreographer for Salsa Heats Pro-Team, making them one of the top team finalist in the world.

Jonathan has landed guest appearances on ‘GLEE’ alongside Olivia Newton-John, The Disney Channel’s ‘Shake It Up’, Celebrity Apprentice, and also performed along side the incredible Jennifer Lopez, in her tribute to Celia Cruz at the AMA Awards.

Jonathan was also featured on 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 16 and 18, and was the head Choreographer for Estrella TV’s ‘Mi Sueño Es Bailar’, and also debuted his choreography on Fox’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, seasons 10, 11 and 12. You can now catch Jonathan on this season of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Season 13 “The Next Generation” as one of the All-Stars and Mentors.
