Gina Glocksen
Gina Glocksen is an American Idol Season 6 finalist who set herself apart from the pack with her punky style and determined attitude. However her rock-and-roll style---honed during her years fronting the all-girl band Catfight---proved to be too much for AI fans and she became the fourth competitor voted off the show. A classically trained singer, she auditioned for Fox's reality juggernaut four times before making it to the finals. She first tried out in Season 2, and even made it to Hollywood Week before being cut on the last day in Season 5. The third time wasn't the charm, either: She was passed over at Season 6's Los Angeles open call but was put through in Memphis after singing Alannah Myles' "Black Velvet." Post-Idol, Glocksen returned to her home state to work on her own music. In 2008, she married her longtime sweetheart, Joe Ruzicka. AI winner Jordin Sparks and fellow Season 6 contestant Haley Scarnato served as two of her bridesmaids.
