Georgia EngelGeorgia Engel launched her theatrical career playing Minne Fay in Hello Dolly! with Ethel Merman. She then joined the original production of House of Blue Leaves, and also appeared as Mickey in My One and Only, and more recently appeared on Broadway (and the National Tour) as Mrs. Tottendale in The Drowsy Chaperone. She co-starred as Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense: The 20th Anniversary Tour as well as Sister Amnesia in Nunsense Jamboree. This year Pulitzer Prize Play winner Annie Baker wrote a role for her in “John”. She has embarked on a new Broadway musical Half Time, which she will star in as Dorothy. On Television, she played Georgette in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” ( two Emmy nominations). She appeared as Pat McDougal in “ Everybody Loves Raymond” ) three Emmy nominations) And just finished her 6th season of Hot In Cleveland with her dear old pal Betty White.
