COMING TO A LAUNROMAT NEAR YOU! SUDS - THE ROCKING 60'S MUSICAL SOAP OPERA Written by Steve Gundersen, Bryan Scott & Melinda Gild Production directed/choreographed by Steve Gundersun & Javier Velasco
Ten years
ago, four friends got together and wrote a little musical called SUDS
- The Rocking 60's Musical Soap Opera. With a cast of just
four, SUDS is the delightful story of a young teenage girl and the
four guardian angels who come to teach her about finding true love.It
takes place in a Laundromat during the sensational 60's. SUDS is loaded
with good clean fun, bubbling energy and over 50 well-known songs
that topped the charts of that decade. The show toured the country,
receiving rave reviews wherever it appeared from California to New
York. It broke many box office records including the prestigious Old
Globe Theater, Actors Theater of Louisville and the San Diego Repertory
Theater. With the huge 60's revival now sweeping the country - evident
in Dick Clark's mega hit NBC series, American Dreams, and
Broadway's most sought after musical, Hairspray, there is
no doubt that SUDS will be cleaning up at the box office once again! Hum along
with some of the classic rock classics of the era brought to life
again in SUDS, The Rocking 60's Soap Opera Musical: Where
The Boys Are - (originally song by Connie Frances), These
Boots Are Made For Walkin (originally song by Nancy Sinatra),
Respect (originally song by Aretha Franklin), I Feel
Good (James Brown), Do You Want To Know A Secret (The
Beatles), just to name a very few
